Just a quick note to say I've heard from several people that they think they have to sign up with Google to leave a comment. Not true.

The easiest way is to click on "comments" at the bottom of the post, select "Name/URL", enter your name and leave URL blank. Then hit publish. The comment will appear with your name.

Or, depending on the comment, you may prefer to select "Anonymous"...
